  • Welcome to Central Illawarra Youth Services Website.

    Our website is designed so it can be easily accessable to young people.

    We have a special section where young people can ask questions in relation to where they can go for support or if you are simply a young person looking for information for an assignment, then we can help. All you have to do is go to our Youth Info page and submit your request. This page is regularly updated with useful and current information in relation to young people.

    We also keep you up to date on what is happening in our local community. Any special events and or anything that is happening within the service. To find out more go to our What's On page. This page is regularly updated with new events and news

    If you are interested in our Youthlinx or Kids Klub programs, each term we post our programs and we also have our enrolment forms available for download. If you would like any more information, visit our Youth Programs page.

  • Central Illawarra Youth Services at all times will create a safe, caring, non-judgmental environment. Our service provision encompasses young people of all backgrounds and circumstances. Our service will accord with social justice and community development principles which continually work towards positive social change. Our services is grounded in the belief that the exploration of self anybody others lead to recognizing the value of compassion, respect and acceptance.


  • YouthLinx is a program aimed at young people between the ages of 11-16.

    YouthLinx strives to build self resilience in young people, strengthen family bonds and encourage community support and involvement. YouthLinx achieves this by providing an after school activity service.

    YouthLinx is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)


  • The YARIP program aims to assist Young People to gain confidence and skills to improve interpersonal, family and community relationships. This aim is achieved by providing Young People with support, assessment on needs, advocacy, referral to appropriate services, social and living skills and lobbying for improved community services for young people.

    This project is based at the 'Rail Neighbourhood Centre'. For more information please contact the coordinator on 02 4257 8108.

    YARIP is funded through the Department of Community Services' (DoCS) Community Support Grants Program (CSGP)


  • Kids Klub is an after school activities service that provides supervised activities for children between 5-10 years of age. Kids Klub provides fun and exciting activities which aims to help develop Kids social skills, creativity and promote self confidence and self esteem within the child. The activities include arts and crafts, science experiments, sports, excursions, competitions, singing, drama and much more. For more information please contact CIYS.

    Kids Klub is funded through the NSW State Government's Department of Community Services (DoCS), plus Albion Park RSL through the Community Development Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme

  •   Albion Park Out of Hours Project

    This project is designed for workers to engage with young people who frequent public spaces outside normal business hours, concentrating on Albion Park CBD. This project promotes value and respect amongst, and in the community, for young people through providing positive recreational     opportunities, support and referral.

    Albion Park Out of Hours Project is funded through the New South Wales Government's Area Assistance Scheme.
